Critical Thinking Resources for Teachers

There are many resources online emphasising the value and benefits of Critical Thinking skills. In our media saturated environment is has become crucial for teenagers to find constructive ways to deal with ever-present connectivity to information. In order to engage in a rational and meaningful way with ideas presented on media platforms, a certain level of self- awareness and -evaluation are required. Critical Thinking skills help us to reflect on our own opinions and beliefs, developing better judgement in response to ideas. Without critical thinking it becomes difficult to understand how our actions relate to our thinking and what the impact of that will be on others. It helps taking responsibility for our own decisions.
